Lilly had to be cured of pneumonia first.

In the hospital at Maxwell Animal Clinic - 5 days.

At 10 years old, Lilly was not only our newest rescue, but also the oldest.  She came from the Miami-Dade shelter the first week of June in 2002.  It took until the end of July to get her well.  When she began to fight with Cleo. Our Cleo was able to find a new home in August and changed her name.  Lady Bug, as Cleo is now known, is the only dog in her new family and loving being an only dog.  (Pictures on a later page...)

Back at home, Lilly meant to be our dominant dog

Knee-Hi was fairly healthy when she got here

Knee-Hi who came from a foster home in Tampa, fit into our family quite well and enjoyed the nursing home visits as Lilly's partner.

Knee-Hi was only 9 years old from the Hillsborough dog pound.

These ladies were the new ones last year.  Knee-Hi came in April and Lilly joined us in June. (2002)  By February of 2003, both of them were living together in another home here in Florida.
